We adopted Moon about a month ago and after much thought decided to name her Nova.
When she first arrived at our home, she adapted quickly to her new environment and was cuddly already from day one. Nights were a bit of a challenge at the beginning as Nova wanted to play and would not let us sleep. However, with time, we started getting used to each other’s schedule and habits, so everything started falling into place.
We are happy to say that now, everything is going great! Nova is completely at ease at home, playing with her toys during the day and sleeping almost full nights. We started slowly getting her used to a harness and leash. She is now mostly at ease when wearing them. We still hope to be able to take her on adventures with us one day.
We took Nova to visit the vet recently. She behaved really well, was curious and calm. After checking her, the vet said that Nova has a good weight and is slowly building a good amount of muscles.
